Meet Ken & Sara

...and the family

Ken grew up on a small farm in rural Minnesota and after High School attended
the University of Minnesota, graduating with a degree in Horticulture and Business.

In 1995 he joined the staff of Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota,
where he worked for 14 years as a Pastor and Department Head. In addition, Ken was also an
instructor at Living Word’s Bible Institute. Ken and Sara were also leaders in
the Prayer Ministry and Sara was very involved in the Music Ministry.

On January 7, 2007 they helped launch and acted as Site Pastors of Living Word Orono, a
Satellite church of Living Word Christian Center. One year later the name was changed to Authentic
Life Church and is now operating as a church plant.

Ken and Sara live in Corcoran, Minnesota with their three children, Samuel, John Wesley and Katherine.
